| Mookie's come a long way since he first
appeared on the scene in 1991 (take a look at the original Mookie).
During the winter of 2002, local artist, John Michaelson
volunteered his talents to give the Cows' mascot a
facelift... and what a makeover he created! Michaelson, a native of New Concord, Ohio, currently resides in New Albany, Ohio and is a Visual Coordinator at Glencoe/McGraw-Hill, a division of the Educational and Professional Publishing Group of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. John Michaelson graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Illustration. In his spare time, he works on freelance computer generated projects and enjoys commissioned work in traditional oil. |
